Nurse Manager

Hillcrest Health Services is looking for a Nurse Manager to join the clinical leadership team at Hillcrest Shadow Lake in Papillion, NE!

The Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing with compliance of federal, state and Medicaid regulations and guidelines.

What are my responsibilities?

• Assist with the direction and supervision of the nursing department to include monitoring and coaching team members to meet the needs and goals of the elders.
• Monitor and manage wound care and documentation process to ensure timely documentation, quality assessment and appropriate changes to treatment when indicated.
• Assist with the education needs of the facility team members to ensure understanding of Medicaid documentation and management.
• Coordinate with the DCS ensuring that elder cares needs are met focusing on new admits, pending discharges and elders at high risk for rehospitalization.
• Assist with random audits of elders’ electronic records.

What must I have to be considered?

• Registered Nurse in state of Nebraska or multi-state preferred; LPN required.
• At least two years’ experience in a skilled nursing, acute or post-acute setting required.
• At least two years’ supervisory experience in a skilled nursing, acute or post-acute setting preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
