Job summary

AdviniaCare Newburyport is seeking an exceptional Unit Manager to join our dedicated team in Newburyport, MA. You will oversee daily nursing operations for our 111-bed facility, leading staffing, scheduling, and patient care assignments to ensure high-quality resident care.

RN preferred with 3-5 years of leadership-focused experience. You must hold an active MA RN or LPN license in good standing and be able to work 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri with possible evenings/weekends).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations, including staffing and patient care assignments.
• Develop and implement care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure adherence to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular rounds, guiding staff and providing feedback.
• Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 operations.
• Collaborate with management to identify and resolve concerns and improve processes.

As a Unit Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our 111-bed facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, and patient care assignments


• Develop and implement effective care plans, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team


• Ensure adherence to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements


• Conduct regular rounds, observing patient care and providing guidance and feedback to staff


• Participate in on-call rotation to support the facility's 24/7 operations


• Collaborate with the management team to identify and resolve concerns, and implement process improvements

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) preferred


• 3-5 years of experience, with a strong desire to lead and learn.


• Currently holds an active RN or LPN license in the state of MA, that is also in good standings.


• Ability to work 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends


• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills


• Compassionate and respectful approach to patient care and staff management


• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
