Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking an OR Nurse Manager to oversee the Operating Room operations in partnership with physician leadership.

The role provides clinical and administrative leadership for nursing staff and participates in strategic planning to ensure safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance across all operational areas. Qualifications

• Progressive leadership experience (3–5 years).
• Current New York State Licensed Registered Nurse.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS).
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (The Joint Commission, NY Dept. of Health, CMS).
• Ability to make safe judgement calls.
• Strong communication for staff in-services.
• Excellent customer service and meeting deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Confidentiality and multitasking abilities.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operating room operations in collaboration with physician leadership.

• Three (3) to five (5) years progressive leadership experience.
• Current New York State License as a Registered Professional Nurse
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Knowledge of guidelines of the regulatory bodies - The Joint Commission, Department of Health and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.
• Ability to make safe judgement calls.
• Strong communication skills for in-servicing the staff
• Excellent customer service skills, responsible for meeting deadline, punctual.
• Effective written and verbal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage multiple priorities.
• Basic computer skills
• Keeps commitments and when unable gives notice.

Job Description

The Nurse Manager is responsible for the operational management of the Operating Room in collaboration with physician leadership. The Nurse Manager provides clinical and administrative leadership for the Operating Room and assists the Senior Director of Nursing with supervising nursing staff. The position requires the Nurse Manager to participate in the strategic planning for the department, and ensures all operational areas are clean, safe, and compliant with all clinical regulatory guidelines. The Operating Room Nurse Manager has accountability for nursing services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
