Job summary

Benchmark at Orchard Valley in Wilbraham, MA is seeking a compassionate LPN/RN to join our nursing team on a 9a-5p schedule with every other weekend.

Deliver high-quality care in a warm, home-like environment, partnering with a dedicated team to support residents' health, safety, and comfort.

Requirements: current LPN license and CPR, 1–2 years of experience, elderly care preferred. Compensation offered: $31-$36.25 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports any significant changes in resident health to the appropriate directors and physicians.
• Directs and supervises the daily work assignments of the Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and guides Lead Resident Care Assistants in job performance.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via a case management process.
• Balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse or neglect per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and uses emergency response systems as needed.
