Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Wilbraham, MA is seeking a compassionate LPN/RN to deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like setting. The role is 9am–5pm with every other weekend and generous benefits.

You will assess residents, coordinate care, supervise assistants, and contribute to a supportive team dedicated to resident independence and safety. Current LPN/RN license and CPR certification are required, with 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN or RN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports significant changes in resident health to the care team.
• Directs and supervises daily work of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors Lead RCAs in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via a case management process.
• Balances service demands with resident independence support.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse or exploitation per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and uses emergency response system appropriately.
