Job summary

St. Peter's Health Partners (SPHP) seeks a compassionate LPN II for our outpatient Orthopedics clinic in Latham, NY. You will deliver skilled nursing care, support patient needs in a fast-paced clinic, and help ensure safe, respectful treatment.

The role requires a NY LPN license, high school diploma with nursing program completion, BLS, and strong communication. You will participate in ongoing education and precept new staff, contributing to quality patient care and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and graduation from an approved nursing education program.
• Current New York State LPN license.
• BLS Certification; prior experience in an outpatient or clinic setting preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage physical demands in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care, adhering to individualized care plans in an outpatient environment.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as directed by an RN, in compliance with NYS regulations.
• Observe, measure, record, and report clinical data regarding patient health.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families about care plans, treatment options, and follow-up care.
• Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Pay Range:$23.85 - $29.95
Pay is based on experience. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
