Job summary
Franklin-Simpson Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Nurse (RN/LPN) to implement orders, supervise LPNs/LVNs/CNAs and deliver compassionate, compliant resident care. The position emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and ongoing support from an experienced RN preceptor.
Frills program offers option to waive benefits for higher base pay plus a $2.00 shift differential when applicable, with strong PPE, infection control, and training resources.
Qualifications
- RN must be a graduate of an accredited RN program and hold a valid RN state license.
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- LPN/LVN must hold current Kentucky license with at least 2 years related experience.
- Good standing in the state registry; new grads welcome.
Responsibilities
- Work with physicians and implement orders for medications, treatments, and tests.
- Supervise LPNs, LVNs and CNAs and provide coaching and support.
- Direct unit duties to deliver quality resident care.
- Maintain confidentiality and effective communication with residents and families.

RN - Must be skilled in directing, motivating and training staff and able to work as a member of a team; able to communicate effectively with residents, family members and all levels of the organization and maintain confidentiality.
Should be a graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing with valid RN state license, and a minimum of 2 years nursing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LPN / LVN - Current State of LVN/LPN with a minimum of 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good standing in the state registry is required.
Utilizes high-level assessment skills to design and ensure multidisciplinary patient care to meet holistic needs, incorporating established practice guidelines and regulatory standards.
All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.
It includes an extensive departmental orientation with an assigned preceptor that we provide for each new graduate hired. As a part of this program, we offer reimbursement for Licensure fees in full.
Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Current Provisional license in the state of Kentucky or Kentucky work permit.
