AdventHealth in Lake Placid, FL is seeking a Nursing Leader to manage a team of nurses and direct reports, focusing on staffing, coaching, and regulatory compliance. You will drive education and evidence-based practice to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates bring RN licensure, an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred), and strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead a diverse clinical team in a full-time, day-shift role.

Responsibilities

• Manages assigned direct reports including recruitment, hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions, development, education, competencies, performance evaluations, and payroll.
• Maintains a culture of psychological safety and collaborative teamwork.
• Ensures evidence-based practice and patient safety through continuous learning.
• Provides ongoing education to nursing staff to maintain high competency levels.
• Prepares unit for audits and surveys and monitors regulatory compliance.
• Manages nursing staff schedules and budgets to meet goals.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates service programs to improve care quality.
