Qualifications

• Current BLS certification is required for all staff.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications, starts IVs, and discharges patients with the care team.
• Organizes, plans, supervises, and provides coordinated patient care within the unit.
• Supervises, develops, and evaluates assigned departmental staff nurses and technicians.
• Promotes nursing protocols and evidence‑based practice.
• Manages conflicts on shifts and collaborates with leadership as needed.
• Collaborates with quality, safety, and experience leadership to improve processes.
• Supports daily clinical operations, staffing, and appropriate supplies.
• Adapts communication for diverse patient populations and respectfully informs patients.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
