The position follows day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (RN)
• BSN preferred
• Current Florida RN license with active registration
• BLS certification required
• Two years of nursing experience in med/surg or oncology or leadership-oriented roles

Aufgaben

• Supervise and coordinate unit clinical operations.
• Provide effective and efficient patient care to all ages on assigned shifts.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among unit caregivers and other departments.
• Ensure continuity of patient care information between shifts.
• Coordinate patient admitting, discharges, transfers and other operational issues.
• Review major operational patient care issues with Nurse Managers.
• Provide ongoing clinical evaluations of caregivers and counsel on performance issues.
• Interview, select and orient new caregivers.
• Support quality improvement projects and research initiatives.
• Assume responsibilities of the Nurse Manager in their absence.
