Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in acute or sub-acute care within last 3 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Chemotherapy training or experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process according to standards of care, policies, and procedures.
• Lead the health care team, delegate tasks appropriately, and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Document accurately, timely, and in the patient record; communicate with physicians, patients, and families.
• Develop and contribute to the plan of care, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed, including discharge planning.
