Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers seeks an experienced Lead Dispensing Nurse for its MAT clinic. The role leads the nursing team, ensures compliant dispensing operations, and collaborates with the Medical Director to maintain high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds an LPN/LVN license in California with several years of substance use treatment experience, strong HIPAA knowledge, and proficiency in EMR and Microsoft Office. This role requires leadership and crisis management skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold California LPN/LVN license with 3–5 years’ experience.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in diverse settings.
• Fundamental nursing principles and addiction medicine basics.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and to exercise judgment.
• Proficient with EMR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Satisfactory drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medication orders are enacted on time and delivered as needed.
• Ensure medical services comply with federal and state regulations.
• Delegate tasks to CNAs and technicians to maintain service levels.
• Collaborate with Nursing Supervisor on potential issues and staffing.
• Schedule and participate in Treatment Teams and department meetings.
• Lead nursing team management, scheduling, and performance improvement.
• Address client clinical complaints and intervene in crises when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
