Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license and eligibility to practice.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience preferred.
• BSN, business or healthcare-related degree required.
• Able to lead staff, coach, and conduct annual evaluations.
• Knowledge of RQI compliance and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appropriate staffing levels for the unit.
• Perform nurse leader rounding.
• Coordinate orientation and staff education.
• Coach staff and administer disciplinary processes as needed.
• Complete annual evaluations in a timely fashion.
• Promote professional nursing practice and collaborate with other departments.
• Participate in practice and quality councils to sustain improvements.
• Model shared governance and mentor emerging leaders.
• Use evidence-based practice to establish standards in policies and education.
• Lead lean process improvements and project management.
• Demonstrate financial stewardship and support department goals.
