Ochsner Health in Louisiana seeks a Registered Nurse to lead patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. The role involves directing licensed staff, ensuring quality outcomes, and upholding diversity and ethical standards in all interactions.

Requirements include RN licensure in the state, BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS readiness within specified timelines; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
Current RN license in state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification within 30 days of hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

Uses the nursing process in delivering patient care.
Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for diverse patients and families.
Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources on the interdisciplinary team.
Utilizes data and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes.
