Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned.
• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned.
• Reinforces support and provides health care instructions to patients and their families.
• Participates in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Observes and reports patients' vital signs and general condition.
• Records observations of patients’ responses to nursing care.
• Maintains comfort and safety conditions for patients.
• Assists with unit management and may assume charge of unit.
