Qualifications

• BSN required; RN license required; BLS certification.
• 3 years of nursing leadership experience.
• MSN preferred; 5 years nursing leadership preferred; nursing certification may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serves as high-visibility leader and mentor; represents unit within the organization.
• Ensures excellence in quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Defines and communicates a vision of excellence for the unit/practice area.
• Manages resources, budgeting, and staffing to meet patient care needs.
• Collaborates with physicians and hospital administrators on care delivery methods.
