Job summary

You will delegate, direct, and support licensed and ancillary team members while ensuring quality patient outcomes and respectful, culturally competent practice.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Clinical specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies appropriate for diverse patients and families.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
• Uses data to evaluate and promote change to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Promotes customer satisfaction and staff morale and professional nursing practice.
• Adapts communication to patient population while respecting privacy.
• Performs other related duties as required.
