Longview Regional Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Intern to support patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role emphasizes hands-on learning, teamwork, and delivering safe, compassionate care to enhance the patient experience.

The Nurse Intern will assist with basic care tasks, participate in rounds, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining professional conduct and reliability.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
• Completion of fundamentals of clinicals in an accredited nursing program.
• 0-1 years of experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsabilidades

• Supports patient care under RN supervision, including basic tasks and safety measures.
• Communicates effectively with the care team and participates in handoffs and bedside reports.
• Develops clinical skills by asking questions and applying evidence-based practices under supervision.
• Maintains a clean, organized work environment and adheres to safety standards.
• Performs hourly rounding and documents tasks clearly and timely.
