Job summary

• Eligibility to continue in position lasts up to 6 months after graduation from nursing school.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications:

• Required: Enrolled in an accredited nursing program (or a program seeking accreditation), completed fundamentals of nursing, and is currently registered in clinical. Continuous enrollment in a nursing program or a graduate of a nursing program and board eligible. BLS Certification from the AHA for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. Eligibility to continue in the position lasts for a maximum of 6 months after graduation from nursing school. Ability to interact effectively with various cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Physical Requirements:

• May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
• See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
• Ability to lift 250-300 pounds with assistance. Ability to push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance.
• Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids. Requires some exposure to chemicals and cleaning products.
