Job summary
Unitek Learning is seeking an experienced nursing faculty member to join our nursing programs in Provo. You will collaborate with instructors to deliver and assess coursework, supervise clinical experiences, and maintain student records.
The role requires an active RN license, a master’s degree in Nursing or higher, and at least four years of direct patient care with clinical teaching experience. We offer faculty development and opportunities for advancement.
Qualifications
- Hold a valid, active license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
- Master of Nursing or higher from an accredited college or university with coursework in nursing or education/administration.
- At least four years’ experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
- A year of clinical experience within the last five years.
- Expertise in one nursing area: Psychiatric, Geriatrics, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, OB-Gyn, Mental Health.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with instructors to prepare, administer, and grade examinations.
- Ensure attendance and submit grades for courses.
- Assist with strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives.
- Plan and orient new faculty to theory and clinical facilities.
- Utilize teaching strategies for adult learners and engage online activities.
- Maintain student records and assist with program data collection.
- Submit program reports to the program Director in a timely manner.
- Stay current with technologies and safety regulations.
- Participate in committees supporting the nursing program.
- Attend faculty meetings and supervise student clinical experience.
