Job summary

The Marion VA Health Care System is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to serve as the Informatics Service Program Manager in Marion, IL. The Informatics Program Manager reports directly to the Associate Director of Patient Care Nursing Services and oversees informatics initiatives across the Marion VA Health Care System.

The incumbent will lead program planning, implementation, evaluation of EHR-related tools, and collaborate with nursing leadership and IT staff.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required for direct patient care.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program; active RN license in good standing.
• State licensure required with potential temporary appointment during bridge program.
• BLS certification required; AED by AHA/MTN accepted.
• Preferred: 5+ years RN experience with informatics, informatics degree/certification, and BSN/MSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated first-line supervisory authority for the Informatics Service.
• Lead assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and sustainment of EHR-related hardware and software.
