The Iowa City VA Medical Center is recruiting for a Registered Nurse (RN) - Informaticist. The Informaticist RN leads the planning, implementation, and evaluation of EHR-related systems, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams across VA facilities and VISNs to improve performance at multiple levels.

Preferred candidates have health informatics coursework or certifications, strong data management and change management skills, and the ability to translate clinical needs into informatics

Qualifications

• Health informatics knowledge preferred.
• Experience with clinical information systems.
• Preferred: ANCC Informatics Nursing Certification.

Responsibilities

• Leads planning, implementation, and evaluation of EHR-related systems.

• Builds relationships nationwide to improve performance at facility, network, or national level.
