Responsible for directing public health nursing services of multiple county health department clinics or a single large county health department clinic. Duties include: all duties of the county staff nurse or float nurse; planning, directing, and supervising the work of county staff nurses and medical aides; monitoring the overall performance and clinic operations of assigned clinics and initiating corrective action as indicated; preparing reports and other documentation for submission to an administrative superior.
