Job summary

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II for our Float Team. You will provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to diverse populations across all ages while floating among multiple EDs: Main Hospital ED (1 West), Ashley River Tower ED (Chest Pain Center), Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital ED, the Psychiatric ED (DPod), and freestanding EDs in Charleston.

The role requires a BSN is preferred, with minimum two years of ED nursing experience; SC or compact state

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of two years ED RN experience; BSN preferred.
• RN licensure in SC or compact state; BLS required; ACLS per position.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care in the ED setting.
• Float between multiple EDs across Charleston.
• Deliver safe and effective care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with the health care team to achieve desired outcomes.
