Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Nurse II - Direct Care RN to support multiple homes at the San Antonio State Supported Living Center. This role offers morning, evening and night shifts and potential additional pay for evenings, nights, weekends, and at maximum security locations.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a practicing RN is required.
• At least six months of RN experience in a health agency, hospital, or health-care facility is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Licensure to practice as a registered nurse in Texas required.

Responsibilities

• Attends work regularly and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or rotating schedule.
• May serve in an on-call status on a rotating schedule as required to meet operational needs of the facility.
• Performs routine nursing tasks and procedures per HHSC/SSLC regulations and monitors patients.
