Job summary

ERC Pathlight in Maryland is seeking a Nurse House Supervisor to join the nursing leadership team for a full-time night shift (6:30pm–7am). You will supervise staff, coordinate care, and ensure safe, compliant unit operations while supporting patient care and milieu management.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in nursing, an unrestricted RN license in the state, and at least 1 year of direct patient care experience with strong communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing (required).
• Unrestricted RN license in state where assigned (required).
• 1+ year of direct patient care experience (required).
• Attention to detail (required).
• Strong communication skills, ability to lead, motivate and inspire others (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to the assigned team by supervising and directing staff.
• Ensure team has necessary skills, tools, and talents.
• Use the established people processes to maintain performance and capabilities.
• Ensure unit operations are efficient; adjust staffing as needed.
• Assist with scheduling teammates for open shifts.
• Complete monthly audits and checklists.
• Ensure unit compliance with policies to meet accreditation and licensing.
• Serve as primary contact regarding clinical questions, policies, and procedures.
• Provide direct patient care as necessary.
• Assist teammates with patient care responsibilities including milieu and crisis management.
