Job summary

Independent Living Systems (ILS) seeks a Nurse Field Supervisor to lead nursing teams in home health and community settings, coordinating field operations and ensuring care plans are followed.

You will mentor staff, perform field visits, monitor regulatory compliance, and partner with physicians and therapists to optimize patient outcomes while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in home health, community health, or related settings.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in a nursing or healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.
• Ability to travel regularly to various field locations as required.
• BSN degree or higher, and related certifications are preferred.
• Experience with EHR systems and healthcare management software.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid and related home health billing processes.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Field Supervisor plays a vital leadership role in overseeing nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in various community and home health settings. This position involves coordinating nursing activities, managing field operations, and serving as a liaison between healthcare providers, patients, and administrative teams. The Nurse Field Supervisor is responsible for monitoring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies to maintain safety and quality standards. They provide mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to nursing personnel, fostering professional development and teamwork. Ultimately, this role ensures that patients receive compassionate, effective care while supporting the operational efficiency of nursing services in the field.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
