Job summary

Spring View Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Nurse Extern to support a licensed RN in Lebanon, KY. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and evidence-based practices within a hospital setting.

You will work under direct supervision, assist with basic nursing tasks, and contribute to care planning and communication with the health care team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• School of nursing 3rd year student or higher is preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a member of the health care team to assist the professional nurse under the supervision of the RN.
• Contributes to the nursing assessment and development of the care plan with patient-centered care and effective communication.
• Follows Nursing Scope of Practice per Kentucky Board of Nursing and Spring View Hospital policies.
