Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is inviting applications for a Nurse Extern PRN Float. You will gain hands-on experience while supporting the nursing team and learning the full scope of the Registered Nurse role.

You will help deliver compassionate care, document patient information, and participate in your personal career development plan with supervision and guidance from your preceptor.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Providing essential care for patients by helping with ADLs, vital signs, mobility and hygiene.
• Performing basic nursing tasks as you gain experience and grow in competency.
• Documenting care accurately and communicating timely updates with the nursing team.
• Helping patients and families understand their care plans and recovery.
• Keeping patient areas clean and safe by following infection prevention practices.
• Engaging in learning opportunities to build your personal career development plan.
