Job summary

Froedtert Holy Family Memorial in Manitowoc, WI seeks a Nurse Extern to support nursing care for an identified patient group under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Nursing with clinical rotations required; NCLEX eligibility or waiting to retake NCLEX; Wisconsin nursing assistant certification preferred; AHA BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Nursing; prepared to take NCLEX or waiting to retake NCLEX.
• Clinical rotations in medical-surgical nursing required or applicable rotations from accredited program.
• One clinical rotation must have included medication administration; six months as nursing assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for an identified patient group under RN supervision.
• Perform duties as assigned within the patient care area.
