Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Nurse Extern to support patient care in a hospital setting. You will perform routine duties under supervision of a Registered Nurse and may be cross‑trained as a Unit Secretary depending on unit needs.

Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited ADN or BSN program, have completed at least the first semester, and be eligible to pass NCLEX within two months after graduation. AHA BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of first semester of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Has at least 2 months to pass NCLEX after graduating.
