Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Nurse Extern (PRN) to perform routine duties within the limits of training in caring for hospitalized patients, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Nurse Extern may be cross-trained to operate as a Unit Secretary depending on unit needs.

The position is on the Medical University Hospital Authority system (MUHA) and pays hourly for 8 scheduled hours per week on the MedSurg 5th Floor.

Qualifications

• Completion of first semester of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Has 12 months to pass NCLEX after graduating.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine duties in caring for hospitalized patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• May be cross-trained to operate as a Unit Secretary as needed.
