Cross-training may expand to operate as a Unit Secretary depending on unit needs; completion of first semester of ADN or BSN is required and NCLEX timing applies. This role offers hourly pay and an opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience at MUSC.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of first semester of ADN or BSN program.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Has 12 months to pass NCLEX after graduating.

Aufgaben

• The Nurse Extern performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient.
• The Nurse Extern may be cross‑trained to operate as a Unit Secretary depending on unit needs.
• Care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
