Overview

The Nurse Extern II (NE II) is a key member of the patient care services team, responsible for technical, multi‑skilled direct and indirect patient care activities. The NE II works under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) who delegates tasks based on patient needs and the NE II’s skills and abilities. The NE II reports any deviations from expected patient parameters to the RN and participates in the assigned clinical area under guidance and ongoing feedback.
