Advocate Health’s St. Luke’s Medical Center is offering Nurse Extern II opportunities for Fall 2026 grads. Join a post‑op Ortho, Spine and ENT unit on a part‑time schedule with one 8‑hour day shift per week.

Under RN supervision you’ll perform ADLs, vitals, medication administration, and patient care activities while preparing to transition into a Registered Nurse role on these units.

Qualifikationen

• Current enrollment with anticipated graduation in 2026 in an accredited nursing program.
• Successful completion of a Medical-Surgical course that includes pharmacology concepts.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to interruptions and changing priorities.

Aufgaben

• Under RN supervision, perform ADLs, vital signs, and blood glucose monitoring.
• Collaborate with RN to establish a care plan based on patient needs and family preferences.
• Assist with medication administration under supervision and support unit activities.
