Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a patient care support role in Texas to provide basic and intermediate nursing care under RN supervision across multiple units. You will work with a compassionate team to ensure a positive patient experience, complete required competencies within the introductory period, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Eligible candidates are currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and have completed at least one clinical semester, with BLS and NVCI

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and has completed one semester of clinicals in an RN program.
• Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer to this position if working in the ED or Behavioral Health areas. Must complete NVCI training before working in the role of a constant observer

Responsibilities

• Provides basic and intermediate nursing care for assigned group of patients under RN supervision.
• Care units include General Nursing Units, Special Care Areas, Maternal Child Units, Nursery, Pediatric, GI Lab, Chemical Dependent and Psychiatric Units, Emergency Unit, Surgical Services.
• Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned

Education
