Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent, or enrollment in the Early College Program with two clinical rotations.
• Enrolled in an accredited nursing program and completed two clinical rotations, including Med/Surg.
• Current Health Care Provider Certification.

Schedule:7:00am-7:30pm/7:00pm-7:30am; Contingent

About the Department

Our unitis a 20-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit that provides nursing students with the opportunity tocare for patients who require cardiac monitoring along with medical and surgical nursing care.

As a Nurse Extern, you'll play a vital role in providing patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your contributions will directly support patient safety, comfort, and overall well-being. This role is essential in assisting the nursing team, responding to emergent situations, and ensuring high-quality care while advancing your nursing education.

• Current Health Care Provider Certification.
