Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN seeks a Nurse Extern PRN for the Cardiac Step Down unit to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under RN supervision and assist with daily living activities. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification held current
• Can perform higher-level procedures once competency is achieved
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 30 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate care for patient populations in the department
• Communicate pertinent information to appropriate individuals
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while respecting patient rights and dignity
• Document patient care information in appropriate computer screens
• Assist with activities of daily living for assigned patients
