Job summary

Piedmont McDuffie Hospital is seeking a Nurse Extern to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. You will utilize treatments and equipment appropriate for a pre-licensure nurse in the clinical setting per hospital policy.

Education requirements include being enrolled in an accredited nursing program with the first Med/Surg rotation completed; BCLS is required, with CNA/PCT or phlebotomy/ECG certifications preferred. No prior experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Education: student in accredited nursing program who has completed the first Med/Surg rotation.
• Work Experience: no experience required.
• Licenses and Certifications: BCLS required; CNA/PCT, phlebotomy, ECG certifications preferred; BCLS upon hire required.
