Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Transition to Practice Clinical Educator to support education across East Florida hospitals. The role emphasizes onboarding, RN Residency, and ongoing professional development with a commitment to high-quality patient care.

The position requires a BSN (RN licensed in applicable states), a preference for a Master’s degree, and 2+ years in clinical education. Up to 75% travel within the market is expected for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• Master’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in clinical education, CSC, academia or leadership is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in acute care hospital is preferred.
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the practicing state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Nationally Recognized Specialty certification is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 75% in market.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates lifelong learning and onboarding programs to promote employee retention.
• Delivers education for transition-to-practice programs including RN Residency and Preceptor Program.
• Provides expertise to identify professional development needs of staff.
• Develops educational content and evaluates training using established methodologies.
• Supports staff growth and career advancement through targeted education strategies.
