HCA Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse Education Specialist to oversee education needs across East Florida hospitals. The role emphasizes lifelong learning, onboarding facilitation, and development of clinical education programs to promote retention and high quality care.

The position requires the nurse to travel up to 75% and collaborate with nursing leadership to identify development needs, apply adult learning theory, and evaluate programs using Kirkpatrick's model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• Master's degree in nursing is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in clinical education, CSC, academia or leadership preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in acute care hospital preferred.
• Current RN license in the practicing state is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Nationally recognized specialty certification preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 75% in market.

What qualifications you will need

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing Required
• Master's degree in nursing Preferred
• 2+ years of experience in clinical education, CSC, academia or leadership Preferred
• 2+ years of experience in acute care hospital Preferred
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state(s) where practicing, in accordance with law and regulation. Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Nationally Recognized Specialty certification Preferred
• Ability to travel up to 75% in market
