Job summary

Orlando Health seeks an experienced nursing education professional to plan, develop, coordinate, and evaluate learning resources for general and specialty-specific programs. The role focuses on maintaining or increasing clinical team member skills and knowledge across the organization.

Ideal candidates have a BSN (or related field), an active Florida RN license, and a current BLS certification, with a strong background in education and development of competency assessments.

Qualifications

• BSN degree or related field is required.
• Current Florida RN license is required.
• Must hold BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• National specialty certification (Nursing Professional Development or CN Educator) preferred or required if available.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates, and evaluates general and specialty-specific education for clinical teams.
• Ensures adult learning principles are integrated into internal or external education programs.
• Supports preceptor development and competency review processes.
• Plans and delivers educational curricula to maintain or increase clinical team skills and knowledge.
• Participates in quality and safety initiatives and organizational committees as needed.
