Job summary
Providence Health and Services Portland Medical Center is seeking an RN Educator – Perianesthesia and Procedural to lead nursing education and staff development in procedural care areas, promoting evidence-based practice and collaboration with operating room educators.
This full-time role is 40 hours weekly, with a Monday–Friday day schedule (8am–5pm) and is not remote; an $8,000 hiring bonus and relocation aid are available for eligible external hires who meet the qualifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Education (or completion within 3 years of hire) is required for PL522.
- Oregon RN License required upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association required.
- 6 years of Nursing with progressive leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead nursing education to ensure high-quality patient care and staff development in procedural care areas.
- Promote evidence-based practices and strategic planning in perioperative education.
- Collaborate with operating room educators to support patient and staff safety.
