Mount Carmel Health System in Ohio seeks a Nurse Educator to provide education to patients, families, staff and physicians within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. The role leads patient care education, acts as a change agent, and supports institutional initiatives related to clinical care.

You will develop and update standards of care, policies and training programs, and collaborate on language-access services to reach diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Current RN license in Ohio; professional certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in the relevant area.

Responsibilities

• Assesses learning needs of associates to plan and deliver programs.
• Serves as a resource for staff on critical thinking and clinical practice.
• Develops and revises standards, policies, and guidelines reflecting evidence-based practice.
• Creates patient education materials that are clear, culturally sensitive, and accessible.
• Develops education plans aligned with institutional initiatives.
