Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Two to three years of nursing experience with leadership and teaching.
• Current Michigan RN license; BLS/ACLS Instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the education process using adult learning principles in all educational activities.
• Prepares and conducts centralized hospital orientation programs for patient care staff.
• Coordinates/in-service programs to enhance staff competence based on needs.
• Plans and evaluates continuing education activities based on assessed needs.
• Participates in patient, family and community education activities.
