Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the education process using principles of education and adult learning.
• Prepares and conducts orientation programs for patient care staff; monitors performance of orientees.
• Coordinates in-service programs to maintain competence in job responsibilities.
• Plans, develops, implements and evaluates continuing education activities.
• Participates in patient/family and community education activities.
