Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is required.
• Valid State of Florida RN license is required.
• CNOR certification is required.
• Knowledge of nursing education, professional development standards, and staff development processes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement multi-site/specialty unit educational programs for nursing and clinical staff.
• Develop and evaluate activities to address deficits or opportunities for improvement in knowledge or practice.
• Create learning environments by collaborating with practitioners, leaders, educators, and staff.
• Coordinate education of patient care staff to ensure proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Document competency assessments and address deficits in staff.
• Orient and onboard new staff and support role changes within units.
