AdventHealth Sebring in Florida is seeking an experienced Nurse Educator to design curricula, develop education programs, and support ongoing professional development for nurses. This full-time role emphasizes adult learning principles and collaboration with unit leadership.

Requirements include RN license, Bachelor's in Nursing, BLS and ACLS; Master's preferred. You will lead orientation, track training outcomes, and contribute to nursing education research and program enhancement.

Job Description

• Designs curricula, develops programs of study, guides learners, and evaluates learning outcomes.
• Incorporates principles of adult learning in planning, implementing, and evaluating education programs.
• Plans, prepares, and maintains materials for educational programs, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the target audience.
• Assists students and practicing nurses in identifying learning needs, strengths, and opportunities.
• Coordinates orientation of new staff, including agency personnel, into the organization.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of educational programming and adjusts content and teaching strategies based on learner needs.
• Tracks educational offerings and shares information with unit leadership as needed.
• Provides educational opportunities that benefit nurses in all stages of career development.
• Supports the bedside nurse with Professional Enhancement Program (PEP) and participates in residency programs as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
