AdventHealth in Tarpon Springs, FL is seeking an experienced Nursing Education Specialist to design curricula, guide learners, and evaluate outcomes, applying adult-learning principles to clinical education programs.

The role supports nurses from onboarding through residency, coordinating staff orientation, and advancing evidence-based practice, with RN licensure and education expertise preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Nursing required
• Master's of Nursing preferred
• RN license required
• BLS and ACLS required
• 1+ education experience in acute care or academic setting
• 5+ experience in nursing education preferred
• 5+ years nursing experience preferred
• Nursing research background preferred

Responsibilities

• Designs curricula, develops programs of study, guides learners, and evaluates learning outcomes
• Incorporates principles of adult learning in planning, implementing, and evaluating education programs
• Plans, prepares, and maintains materials for educational programs, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the target audience
• Assists students and practicing nurses in identifying learning needs, strengths, and opportunities

Job Description

Pay Range: $71,385.60 - $132,787.20
