Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or health-related field AND minimum two years of experience in an inpatient setting, clinic, and/or skilled nursing department or a directly health-related field.
• Registered Nurse License (Washington) required at hire OR Compact License: RN required at hire

Responsibilities

• Provides educational opportunities to nurses for their professional development by identifying individuals/groups who do not meet competency expectations and recommending longitudinal education plans.
• Verifies standards are implemented and met by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and evidence-based practices.
• Participates in continuous improvement by researching literature to stay current with nursing practice and applying findings to education programs.
• Supports clinical development by aligning on goals and outcomes of professional nursing education programs and integrating educational activities into clinical care.
